The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization encouraging informed and active participation in government. Both women and men are welcomed as members.

   LWV COMMUNITY MURAL PAINTING 

        Saturday October 10th, 10:00am-2:00pm  At Peg Noonan Park, Main Street, Falmouth

Come and help paint our “Be A Voter” mural. Designed by award winning Cape Cod Artist Jackie Reeves to inspire people to vote in the upcoming election.

Paints and brushes will be provided. The design is easy to follow - no special skills are required, just lots of enthusiasm!
Special precautions are being taken due to COVID. Only 2 people will paint at each panel at a time. We recommend that people sign up with a painting partner from their own household. In addition, all participants are required to wear marks and to social distance. All paintbrushes and pots are single-use and there will be a sanitization station with hand gel and protective gloves.

Today, with the Covid-19 pandemic, we in Massachusetts could have faced a new threat to voting.  Thankfully, we will not be forced to choose between our health and the exercise of our precious voting rights in the upcoming primary on September 1 and the general election on November 3.  That is because the primary and election will be conducted under special rules set forth in An Act Relative to Voting Options in Response to COVID-19 (H.
